Blopress: Presentation, Composition, Uses, Precautions, Side Effects and Interactions

Presentation and composition

  • Blopress tableta contiene 16 mg de candesartan cilexetilo y 12.5 mg hydrochlorothiazide.
  • Excipients with known effect: lactose (monohydrate).
  • Each tablet contains 68.8 mg of lactose monohydrate.

Applications

It is used alone or together with other medications to treat high blood pressure ( hypertension ) in adults and children 1 to 16 years of age. High blood pressure adds to the workload of the heart and arteries.

Precautions

Some medical conditions may interfere with the treatment of Blopress. Patients suffering from heart disease, kidney disorders or diabetes should inform their doctor before starting this medication.

Parents should also inform their doctor if they are allergic to any food, medicine, if they are allergic, blood low or sodium levels.

Women who are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or who have become pregnant during the course of treatment should inform their doctor of their condition immediately.

Doctors also advise patients to refrain from infants during treatment, pills can pass on breastfeeding and the mother of the guard.

Interactions

The use of Blopress with any of the following drugs is generally not recommended, but may be necessary at times. If both drugs are prescribed together, your doctor may change the dose or how often you use one or both drugs.
