Noni Properties: History, Juice, Preparation, How to Take, Benefits of Drinking It in the Fasting

The secret to eternal youth and disease-free life.

It is a fruit from Australia, Asia, and the islands of French Polynesia, which grows from a small tree. It has white flowers, large fruit with a yellow-greenish-white color, and pebbles on its surface. When the fruit ripens, it has an unpleasant smell.

Origen e Historia

Polynesian healers have used the fruit of Noni for thousands of years to treat various conditions such as diabetes, among many others. The ancient manuscripts name the fruit as the predominant ingredient in healing recipes.

Currently, it is sold in the form of juice, “dried fruit,” and encapsulated extract.

The Noni plant is a member of the coffee family, and the fruit is bumpy and yellowish-white in color. Belonging to a tree of the coffee family, Rubiaceae, Noni is known by the scientific name Morinda citrifolia.

Jugo de Noni

It is often found in combination with grape juice, probably because the grape juice helps hide the unpleasant bitter taste that it also has. The grape also provides essential nutrients and can be found in capsules, tablets, and teas.

A tablespoon of Noni juice contains approximately:

  • Five calories
  • 9 grams of carbohydrates.
  • Five milligrams of vitamin C (2% DV).
  • Three hundred micrograms of zinc (2% DV).
  • One hundred seventy micrograms of niacin (<1% DV).
  • Twelve micrograms of foci (<1% DV).
  • Two milligrams of calcium (<1% DV).
  • Eight hundred micrograms of magnesium (<1% DV).
  • Thirty-five micrograms of iron (<1% DV).
  • Ten milligrams of potassium (<1% DV).

Like many other fruits, the Noni fruit is squeezed into a juice and sold, but it can also be obtained as a juice concentrate, a powder, and can even be found in beverages mixed with other ingredients and juices.

Noni goes beyond a simple fruit juice, of course. It can be purchased as a fruit skin made from dehydrated pulp and crushed leaves and found in natural medicines and cosmetics.

What is the use of Noni juice?

Presents an incredible antioxidant power: You have probably heard about antioxidants. Foods that contain antioxidants are excellent because they can help prevent the cell damage that causes the diseases.

The most common antioxidants are anthocyanins, beta-carotene, catechins, coenzyme Q10, flavonoids, lipoic acid, lutein, lycopene, selenium, and vitamins C and E, which can be found in many foods and as dietary supplements.

Noni and grapeseed oil are among the two sources where you can find many of these antioxidants. Antioxidants help reduce the damage caused to cells due to oxidative stress.

This oxidative stress can come from oxygen free radicals, volatile molecules formed naturally when the body converts food into energy, such as when we exercise.

We must clarify that exercising is wrong; the problem lies when we do not eat well. If we do not consume a good proportion of fruits and vegetables, we can get into an imbalance. If we have too many free radicals, this will inevitably generate oxidative stress, and therefore we are prone to suffer some diseases.

Researchers believe that oxidative stress can cause many diseases, such as CancerCancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, cataracts, and age-related macular degeneration.

Suppose we have a good intake of antioxidants such as those provided by the Noni fruit. In that case, we are preventing oxidative stress and, in turn, the occurrence of a severe illness such as those mentioned in the previous paragraph.

Combat pain associated with tumors: The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health reports that Noni, ginkgo Biloba, isoflavones, pomegranate, and grape seed extract are foods that fight CancerCancer.

In particular, the anticancer properties of anthraquinones make Noni the super fruit of interest.

It has been discovered that anthraquinones, phenolic compounds of natural origin, prevent glucose from entering the tumor cells, preventing metastasis and leading to cell death. This, in turn, is useful for slowing the growth of cancer cells.

One study shared that some products containing Noni may lack anthraquinones due to processing and that anthraquinones are more commonly found in seeds and leaves.

It is essential to remember that studies are still being carried out regarding anthraquinones and their effects on the body. Although research suggests that these compounds may help reduce the pain and fatigue associated with CancerCancer, it does not appear to reduce the tumor size.

Combat inflammation and increase immunity: Research published in the Journal of Natural Products shows that they studied a “new fatty acid, a new derivative of ascorbic acid and a new iridoid glycoside, an important metabolite for metabolism” along with 13 compounds found in the fermented juice of Noni fruit.

The study showed detoxification benefits due to enzymes known as quinone reductase. This suggests prominent anti-inflammatory traits, making Noni juice a healthy anti-inflammatory food.

For example, these traits can help reduce the effects of arthritis. Adding Noni juice to your diet may provide the body with the much-needed nutrients to reduce and even help eliminate the inflammation found in the body.

In addition, the amino acids found in Noni can help stimulate the immune system. Noni contains 17 amino acids, but the serine, arginine, and methionine found in Noni are particularly useful to keep the body strong.

It can even help with fitness and athletics.

It helps reduce cholesterol: A study of cigarette smokers was conducted, which, as we know, have an exceptionally high risk of higher cholesterol levels.

The study reported in the Scientific World Journal gave Noni juice to heavy smokers daily for 30 days. The findings revealed much lower levels of cholesterol and triglycerides after consuming Noni and, therefore, less inflammation in the body.

It is no secret that cigarette smokers cause cell damage inside their bodies.

It is reported that smoking is a significant cause of cardiovascular disease and the cause of one in three deaths related to cardiovascular diseases.

In addition, tobacco increases triglycerides, lowers “good” HDL cholesterol, causes blood clots, which are known to block blood flow to the heart and brain, and can cause an increase in plaque buildup in the body, specifically fat, cholesterol, and calcium in the blood vessels.

Noni Juice can help reduce cholesterol levels, but quitting altogether is the best choice.

Provides cell repair: Noni can be perfect for cell repair. It contains colorless alkaloids, and alkaloids are essential to maintain a healthy balance in the body.

Studies show that Noni juice produces an alkaloid called Xeronine in the body, which activates enzymes.

According to Dr. Ralph Heinicke, a biochemist, xeronine is necessary for our bodies.

The difficulty is that as soon as xeronine is found in the body, the protein in our body consumes it immediately, leaving us with very few cellular repair needs.

How does the Noni fruit fit into all this? Noni contains only tiny amounts of xeronine, but the juice contains proxeronin.

Proxeronine is a unique colloid that stimulates the release of xeronine in the intestinal tract once it comes in contact with a specific enzyme found in noni juice. This can significantly improve cellular function.

Prevents parasitic disease: Noni juice can help prevent parasitic disease.

Leishmaniasis is a parasitic disease typically found in tropical areas and southern Europe from sand flies, much smaller than the average mosquito we know today.

This has become more important due to resistance to medications and some complications caused by a possible infection combined with HIV.

The Noni fruit has a rich chemical composition. It has been shown to combat parasites with its phenolic and aromatic compounds, making it a possible treatment against leishmaniasis.

Noni and CancerCancer

Noni juice could exercise a preventive and protective action against CancerCancer during the initiation stage (the first phase of cancer formation) and even advanced stages of CancerCancer.

Many feel that antioxidant activity is an essential function of Noni Juice and one of the reasons why many people have said that Noni juice benefits against CancerCancer while being consumed regularly.

Noni juice is among the top ten recommended products for alternative therapies for cancer treatment.

In researching the cure for CancerCancer, Noni juice helps reduce the time it takes for patients who undergo treatment or chemotherapy to recover.

This is why Ralph Heinicke worked so laboriously to isolate the explanation of why the Noni plant had been used for years as a medicine.

The reason is a molecule called xeronine that could help the body repeatedly operate to remove most of the cancer cells and other diseased cells.

The power to stop the spread of CancerCancer is the most critical concern in cancer treatment.

The analysis of Noni juice also advises that it can be used as a natural remedy against CancerCancer, day by day, to stop most cancers or the reappearance of CancerCancer.

This is necessary because most people cured of CancerCancer are likely to return. There are no conventional medications that can not help but try to keep CancerCancer away.

Noni y Xeronina

Proxeronin is a molecule stored in the liver that is released into the blood and transformed into xeronine. This alkaloid is metabolized by our cells and regulates many physiological functions.

One of its primary functions is the spatial conformation of proteins and their maintenance by making xeronine intervene throughout the cell’s life.

One is transported through the blood to the different tissues of the body. Xeronine is combined with serotonin, a hormone that intervenes in regulating body functions such as sleep or mood.

Xeronine combines with many proteins that need it to perform their functions.

Diseases that the Noni cures

Noni juice can treat so many diseases that it is almost impossible to list them all in one place. Some of its medicinal benefits are the following:

  • To prevent and fight against CancerCancer.
  • Strengthening of the cellular structure.
  • Fight against heart disease.
  • Relief for arthritis.
  • Strengthening the immune system.
  • It controls diabetes.
  • For depression.
  • Relief for asthma.
  • Protection against stroke.
  • Migraine treatment.
  • Strengthening the nervous system.
  • Improve memory.
  • Improves the health of the skin.

And much more!

Noni as an analgesic: The Noni tree is traditionally called an “analgesic tree.” Even scientific studies have confirmed the analgesic benefits of the Noni fruit.

Research has found that its pain-reducing powers are comparable to hydrocortisone and tramadol medications. It has traditionally been used to relieve headaches, arthralgia, and pain related to arthritis.

Control diabetes according to the first research studies, drinking Noni juice is an excellent way to control your diabetes.

A research study with diabetic animals has shown positive results. They were administered Noni for 20 days, and a significant normalization of hyperglycemia was observed.

In simple terms, their high blood sugar levels were normalized by a wide margin.

The researchers also found that the noni group suffered much less liver damage and fatty deposits in the liver than the placebo group.

Noni juice preparation

You will need to:

  • Fruto Noni Maduro.
  • Water.
  • Sodium bicarbonate.

Step 1: Choose the fruit when it has a light yellow color. The fruit must be hard without any green coloration present.

If there is some green in the fruit, this portion of the fruit will not ripen, and the juice will have a slightly bitter taste. After picking, the fruit will continue to clear its color and the fruit will continue to soften.

Step 2: Inspect the fruit. The fruit should not show insect bites, rodents, or infestation. Wash the fruit in warm water in a sterile environment—Air dries on a clean surface.

Do not allow mold to grow on the fruit while it is drying. Inspect fuzzy growths periodically.

Step 3: Store the fruit in food-grade plastic containers or glass bottles. Ensure that the containers allow the fumes created during the fermentation process to escape.

A transparent container is ideal for seeing the juice while fermenting visually. Unusually cloudy or dark juice may be contaminated.

The fermentation process can last between two and eight weeks, depending on the desired flavor. The fermentation process lasts eight weeks and results in a dark juice rich in flavor.

Step 4: Analyze the pH level of Noni juice. The PH level will show how acidic the juice is. Normal pH levels for juice are between 3 and 5. Buy strips of PH, or litmus strips, at local natural food stores.

The strips are immersed in the juice and then compared with a master table. The more acidic the juice or, the lower the PH level, the more bitter the juice taste will be.

Add small amounts of baking soda to reverse the acid levels of the juice if it is too sour.

Step 5: Store the juice in sealed containers. The juice can be stored for up to two years. Label all containers with the name of the juice, when it was made, the ph level, and the date the container was opened.

Noni wine preparation

You will need to:

  • Five pounds of mature Noni.
  • 1 pound of brown sugar
  • 7 liters of water.
  • One package of yeast

Step 1: Boil water and then add sugar. Boil until the sugar dissolves. Crush the Noni and add to the hot sugary water. Cover and leave for 24 hours.

Step 2:  The next day, dissolve the yeast in a bit of water and allow it to activate. At the designated time (after 24 hours have elapsed), add the yeast starter to the fruit’s pulp to ferment for three days. Strain and pour into another pot.

Step 3: Cover with a plastic (airlock) and then with the lid. Leave for eight days and then move to the bottle.

How the Noni is taken

First month – 30mls per day. This is the recommended amount for people without known health problems.

The best time to take Noni is on an empty stomach, as this increases absorbency. The first thing is recommended in the morning, or at least 10 minutes before the meal.

If you do not notice any change after the first month, increase the amount to 60 ml daily.

In this scenario, you may have underlying health problems that you were unaware of, and Noni is first providing nutrients to those areas.

After the second month, if you still feel that you are not getting as many benefits as expected, increase the amount to 120 million daily. You can divide the amount twice daily, morning and afternoon, but still before meals.

At the end of the third month, you will indicate how much the maintenance amount will be.

A high amount is not usually a problem since your body will continue distributing and using the nutrients. Especially in the early stages if we consider how long we have probably been deprived of these nutrients.

As you continue to drink Noni, you will know what time you need more or less. (If we honestly listen to the signals from our body, we will know what we need to provide, whether nutrients or other mechanisms, such as stress management, exercise, and relaxation therapies).

At any stage of your life, when you know you are demanding more from your systems, whether mental, emotional, or physical, increase the amount to compensate.

In the case of illness, injury or surgery, Noni can be taken in large quantities. It depends on the severity of the condition; in terms of 30mls per hour, waking hours is not excessive.

In these times, you will significantly benefit from the healing power of Noni. (People living with CancerCancer can initially drink up to 750 ml per day).

Adequate water intake (at least 1 liter per day = 8-10 glasses) is essential to keep all our systems hydrated, help eliminate body waste and allow the dispersion of nutrients.

Knowing that our bodies have around 90% water must be continually replenished.

In some cases where people have been slow to realize the benefits of Noni, simply by increasing the water intake, this has been improved.

Fasting Noni Benefits

In the morning, the nutrients are better utilized when the stomach is empty; in this way, it passes quickly to the intestine, where it is converted into an active enzyme.

According to the dosage, Noni Juice is recommended to take on an empty stomach 5 minutes before breakfast, noon, and dinner.

It is recommended to drink it in sips, take and leave in the mouth about 10 seconds before swallowing, and repeat the same until finished. Shake vigorously before serving and keep refrigerated, as it does not contain additives or preservatives.

Among the benefits of eating it on an empty stomach, we find:

  • Promotes cell regeneration.
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Antiparasitic activity.
  • Reduce blood fats.
